These are possibly the 5 best sentences you'll ever read:
1. You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity, by legislating the wealth out of prosperity.
2. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving.
3. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else.
4. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it.
5. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work, because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that is the beginning of the end of any nation.
“When you’re born dumb, you stay that way a long time.”
Sorry I'm no English major. But I am confused. The statement has a subject (Barack Obama aka Barry Sotero) and a double predicate (was escorted, extricating) one for the independent clause and one for the dependent clause, even two indirect objects (Indonesia, his home country). While I agree a semicolon after Indonesia was inadvertently omitted it seems to this public school educated hack that it contains all the necessary elements of a sentence, just not punctuated correctly. But maybe I'm just being petty.
“Fat drunk and stupid is no way to go through life, son.” - Dean Wormer
I’m partial to:
No!
May I also suggest?
Barack Obama, the ex-president, moved back to Chicago today where he is being held at the Metropolitan Correctional Center while his conviction for treason is being appealed.
That is the most stupid palindrome I’ve ever read! My side hurts from laughing!
A trillion here, a trillion there - pretty soon you’re NOT talking real money.
Ah ha! Hah ha!
If you think that one’s the most stupid, then you’ve clearly never seen:
Emordnilap doog a ton si w is not a good palindrome.
Please note, the “w” is very important to the intellectual impact of the sentence.
Great quote from C.S. Lewis. And it captures what is so wrong with western civilization in spades.
Never play Leapfrog with a Unicorn.
Even if country is misspelled, it has a nice ring.
Excellent! Some Dumbocrats need to learn from this.
You live in a nice dream-world.
Dickens wrote some long sentences.
Seems no one else will say it, so I will. That is good.
In your sentence, who is doing the extricating?
The sentence doesn’t indicate who is escorting him either, is that a problem? In other words there is an implication that there is that both an escorting agent and an extraditing authority. Seriously, I have two graduate degrees (neither in a liberal art) and I do not know what you getting at.
I just posted that quote to my FR account page. It is now one of my favorite quotes.
LOL!!
