What is this about?
I agree - there are scores of FReepers that cannot view a youtube video at work, and it would be nice to provide a synopsis of it.
We need to get special interest out of the government. Our government has become in itself it’s own special interest group. Our government has seen an explosion in it’s size in the last 3 to 4 years. In the last decade the private sector jobs have grown only 1%, but the number of Federal employees have grown 15%. We’re now out of the era of Big Government and into the era of Enormous Government.
Congress used this recession to expand government and entrench government workers. When this recession started the Transportation Dept. had only 1 employee making over $170,000...Today it has 1690 making that much or more.
Before this recession started the Dept of Defense had 1868 employees making per $150,000 a year...today that number is 10,100 employees. The number of Federal employees making $100,000 a year doubled in less than two years.
Do you really think these people will vote against any kind of spending cuts?
