My opinion, I regret to say was awfully uninformed. I had not read the linked article, only the headline. I actually imagined mentally the process of making chlorine gas, which is a process I am little familiar with. The E. S. Smith process using brine and electrolysis.
I thought, gee, I don’t want a housewife doing that. So I overreacted in my ignorance.
The linked article is quite informative and helpful. Anyone with a well (like me) well find it helpful.

ansel12 you made your point and then continued to ‘hijack’ the thread. I do understand your concern, but wouldn’t everyone have been better served if you would have started a seperate thread about your concerns and left this thread for those who wish to gain knowledge and discuss the subject. As my pastor says you don’t bring people to God by telling them they are going to hell you bring them by telling them how they can get to heaven. All you did was ruin the thread for all that were interested in the subject and made a lot of people mad and now they will never listen to your message.
