So it appears you completely missed the point of the article. No one is saying to store clorine gas or even clorine bleach.

I got the point of the article. My point is that Chlorine is not needed and alternate means of ensuring water safety can be had using more reliable methods. Keeping Chlorine or materials to make Chlorine is not necessary and an additional risky step. Imagine needing to bugout or move for any reason and carting around those chemicals. Any mixture of water onto them can be hazardous and ruin anything near them not to mention be a hazard to people and animals. Those chemicals are great for pools, but I just don’t want another risk to cover.
