I saw my mom dying. It was awful.

Don't let him have that memory. Let him keep that last good memory of "a kiss and a hug" from Grandma.

I agree with Sacajaweau... I was 29 when my mom died, and I saw her die a slow death due to cancer. It was horrible and I wouldn’t wish that on a 6 year old, so .... I would not let him see her.

However, a child’s prayer is mighty with God, I would encourage him to pray for her.
