The detail is truly excellent. FReeper Swampsniper would be impressed.

The Bengal was probably ‘dumped’. People are moronic. They get animals and then realize they are more than what they bargained for and then dump them. (sheer speculation on my part)I’m thinking that is probably what happened...maybe not but Bengals are not ordinary ‘house’ cats from what I’ve read.

My bubby, the 3 legger showed up in the neighborhood and was emaciated. I had seen him over at the neighbors house but they hated cats so I knew he wasn’t theirs. Anyway, I was stunned to see he was missing a leg. When I took him to the vet, he told me that the leg had been surgically removed and he was also neutered. Still a mystery how he wound up here. I looked for the owners for a few months; someone spent a great deal of money on him so, someone loved him at one time. I’m not sure what happened there but he’s home now.

I kind of think the Bengal escaped a car, a cat carrier or something like that.
I don’t know why anyone would pay the kind of money you have to pay for a Bengal and then dump it.
There’s no telling how far she had traveled on he own and for how long. She was dirty and just skin and bones.
