There are many here on Free Republic that absolutely love our "Fru-babies". We post pics and follow each other, well I thought it would be terrific if we post the pictures of our 'babies'.
I don't know about you all but mine 'get me through' these nightmarish days. They love me no matter what. They are there and want to be with me no matter what. That includes the way I now look in the mornings! LOL!
Show YOUR babies here... :) Here are a few of mine both past and present...

Thanks! We had Stella (Ragdoll) way before Beaux (Birman) but we liked the white with the strawberry-blond markings and blue eyes that we wanted the same coloring in the next kitteh. Both have fur that is as soft as rabbit fur. You need a real good pethair vacuum cleaner (i.e., Dyson) to keep up with them, though. :o)

Yeah, I have to have a good vacuum with goldens too (atlho I didn’t get a great one last time. It works ok, but I will get something else next time).

LOL They are. However, in our breed, LOL, they are known as White Sables and i believe the current color is called apricot; unless they have changed it. Tomorrow they call it orange. ROTFLOL
I agree with you.

Our Ragdoll has several different sounds. A trill, like a bird; a Rrrrrrr sound that is just like a little kid would make with his race cars; a loud, annoyed meow if she isn't getting the attention she wants; and that “very, feral growl” like you mentioned when she REALLY wants someone to play with her- NOW. We can usually tell what she wants just by her voice.

I know! Our Ragdoll was called flame-point or red point then bi-color. I think they were only allowing the flame/red color in the last decade. Stella, as a Ragdoll female, should have been 10-12 pounds, but she hovers between 7 1/2 and 8 pounds and is already full-grown. She was the runt, I guess. No matter, we never had any intention of showing her and never even bothered to register her with FICA, etc. Beaux, is a flame-point Birman and at less than 2 years old, already weighs over 12 pounds. They are not full-grown until about 3 or 4. He loves his food, so I think he will continue to grow. The males can weigh upwards of 15 pounds or more. Stella, being smaller, still lets him have it whenever he crosses his bounds with her. She's the top cat!

I sure understand what you are saying. Crazy, isn’t it? Those little ones sure know how to run the show, don’t they. My little 27 lb is best friends with my 120 lb.
Doesn’t matter. I show because I like to show and I have this wonderfully conformed white shepherd with a wonderful disposition who wins everything he is in and his parents pretty much do too. So it would be a waste not to show him. I do like to show. It can be fun; but it has it’s drawbacks too of people that are playing all kinds of tricks.

Our Ragdoll cat is VERY vocal, but when I went to a cat show, I ask a Ragdoll breeder about the different sounds her cats made. She said, “You know, I don't think I have ever heard them make any sounds.”, apparently, they are supposed to be quiet and sweet. Stella didn't get that gene, I guess. :o)

The one of little Phudd is. We got him and his brother, Mojo (the one eyed dog), at three weeks old and had to bottle feed them.
They were so tiny.
