I don't mean this as derogatory or to start a negative debate but there is something I have noticed over the last year and I am more curious than anything.
In my area I have noticed an abundance increase in the black culture. When I go to Pizza parlors, Whole Foods, Trader Joe's, Lowes, Ruby Tuesdays,Pei Wei, Furniture stores, etc. We live about 20 miles outside of Philadelphia and until two years ago you would see very, very few black people at any of these places now it is about 1/3 or more. Now sporting Mercedes', Lexus' and Hummers.
Like I said, I am more curious than anything and wondering why (all of the sudden)....more curious than anything. Anyone know? Like i said i am more perplexed than anything...
There is nothing at all wrong with the way you expressed yourself. Criticism not warranted. (FR is a friendly place; it’s usually DU where critics abound, and malignant vulgarity.)
What kind of black people are you talking about? If you’re freaked out by my 70 year old mother in law (yes, she owns a Lexus SUV) quietly going to Ruby Tuesdays in the burbs with her church group I don’t know what to say to you but if you’re noticing gang bangers prowling the Trader Joes then your area might have a problem. I’d chalk this up to population movement. Philadelphia is such a horrible place of course decent people of all races are moving out.
It’s corporate. The Black diversity tribal culture is “in” to them since we have a homie in the white house.
