She is reaching out, she knows she needs
a good paddling but is afraid to reveal
her desires.
Much as I would find it distasteful, I
will volunteer to administer to her needs.

And I could insinuate the same about your upbringing and your snarking... my broader point is there is no one size fits all answer or insight to these situations. The daughter might be stark raving crazy and it may have little or nothing or a lot to do with the kind of morality she grew up with.
I do wonder how on earth that develops (pathological lying).
