WOW! 4 more theaters! At his rate it might get to Colorado Springs by November 2012!

AMC is sabotaging this thing. Typical Hollywood: Talk like sweet democracy advocates, but act like communists.

I heard Tucker Carlson on FNC say that the movie has not done well.

Hmm...there has been no promotion money spent by mega studios...and it’s a documentary. The left rigs the outcome. Seems to me those who saw it have wonderful things to say.

Since I live in the NW I’ll probably have to go to Walmart and get a DVD.

It is unlikely that you will be able to see "The Undefeated" at an AMC theater ANYWHERE -- soon.

As of this morning, "The Undefeated" is currently playing in a GRAND TOTAL of four theaters -- nationwide.

Click here for the most current list:

As we feared, "The Undefeated" is NO LONGER SHOWING at original fourteen theaters where it was introduced. :(

The fault for this botched "limited theatrical release" strategy does not appear to with AMC.

The plan, apparently, was to spend VERY LITTLE MONEY on "traditional marketing" -- and instead depend on "social media" and "local networking."

And THAT strategy was clearly NOT effective long-term.

Ticket sales -- after a nice spike on opening day -- have been DISMAL.

Utter nonsense.

AMC is in business to make money. The Undefeated tanked by 63% in week two, even with 40% more theaters showing it. AMC is simply cutting its losses.

If box office had risen by 63% they would be expanding the footprint.

There are none so blind as those who absolutely refuse to see.

A communist will keep on showing a film, regardless of profit or loss, for ideological reasons.

A capitalist will keep on showing a film, regardless of ideology, when a film is bringing in the money and pull the plug, regardless of ideology, when the film is hurting potential profits.

Whether you want to admit it or simply want to continue with your self delusion, the cold, hard reality is that the Sarah Palin movie bombed in geographic areas specifically chosen to be the most "Sarah friendly".

Sarah Palin is not dumb and she understands reality.

Sarah Palin knows that her supporters are extremely loyal but very limited in numbers. The movie numbers showed that: Most of her local supporters flocked to the theaters the first three days but the total number of supporters was so small that, after the first three days 3 days, the movie was playing to mostly empty theaters. Sarah will not risk going into personal debt to finance a political campaign that, like the movie, is doomed to failure.
