Where’s the citation that goes with it?
I believe Purple Hearts can be bought at the PX. It’s not like a Medal of Honor.

A couple of weeks ago there was a story of this kid who dressed up in this military costume and tried to pass himself off as a veteran. He had medals from WWII and Vietnam I think. The photos of the guy getting arrested by the base personal were funny. I suppose this kid could buy the medal to attach to his costume.
