Today it would be absolutely foolish to marry an American woman.
I guess it depends on the woman. I've lived in the Northeast my whole life, but I'm with an American lady from Tennessee, and I wouldn't trade her for anyone -- least of all someone who didn't grow up here and relate to my core American values.
