I just bought this IMAC in 9/10. I am updated on everything Snow Leopard. However, I am confused about the 7GB requirement. My About this Mac shows 4 GB. They said that was all I needed. I would hate to start a download and wonder why I am getting nowhere because I didn’t know I needed more space. Btw, just happened to catch that 7GB needed before downloading.
You need 3.47GB for the download, and about 3.5GB of free space to install it. Voila, 7GB of required install space.
