Tropical Depression Two has formed in the Western Atlantic Ocean off the Florida coast. Recon. data reflect near-tropical storm strength winds. A tropical storm warning has been issued for Grand Bahama Island and the Abaco Islands in the northwest Bahamas. The system is currently drifting south with weak steering currents. Early forecast map predicts the storm will remain off the U.S. mainland coast.
WTF?
I’m a little north of CC and we’ve had just about nothing.
I grew up surfing round Galveston and Surfside, TX. The water would get so hot in the mid 60s summers that the wax would melt of our boards, in the water!
I kinda like the name. Don’t want any storms tho (not the wind part), I just bought a nice big patio umbrella. I can bring it in, but I sure would rather not go thru all that rigamarole if I don’t have to. I hear thunder out there and I DO have a headache today. But that’s probably just regular old FL afternoon weather....
We’re getting a little more now....so nice! Does a lot for the temp as well!
That's good. Arlene & Bret will be back in six years.
We have a chance in the forecast which I think is about like a snowballs chance in ...
I like good solid names like that. :)
We have Dora in the Pacific with 130 knot winds. Looks like a big one
For those who have never seen it, here’s my favorite storm tracking site;
Even gives local weather and is better than my local news sites with radar.
