Here are some pictures my brother snapped in Estabrook Woods* in Concord Massachusetts in May. He did it freehand with a 2005-ish stock digital camera.
From Wikipedia; *"The Estabrook Woods is a wild tract of more than 1,200 acres (4.9 km2) of woodland, hills, ledge, and swamp two miles (3 km) north of the Town of Concord.[1] It is the largest contiguous and undeveloped woodland within thirty miles of Boston."

Here are a few more. A couple are a bit older, from Fall of 2009.

Sounds like it works for you. But I was told as a boy to wash off poison ivy with COLD water and soap. Ever since, it has always worked just fine.
Hot water opens the pores, and lets the poison into your skin. Cold water is much better.

Fells Naphtha is working for us. Tecnu is good, too, but somewhat pricier than Fells.
I was immune to it until I was 17. Got covered head to toe with it on a trip to Plum Island.
Of my 11 children, I think only one is immune to it. On our little farm, we apply Ortho brush killer to poison ivy patches as they spring up. We’ve been able to keep it down that way.
One story I heard was that the New England apple orchard owners of old put poison ivy around their fields to discourage poachers.

The taxes are real friendly too. But please, if you come here don’t try to make it like where you left. We are friendly to people from the north who want to just enjoy how it is
