Thanks for that baseball history. Although this stuff occurred well before I was born, I did see Pee Wee Reese play in personh as a youngster. He had a long career and wound up in the Hall of Fame. So the photo of him throwing to first to complete a double play brings back memories.
I'm also familiar with just about all those other old Dodgers and Cubs names, as well as many in those other box scores. It's sobering to think that the large majority of them are now deceased, but its a vicarious trip down memory lane for me.
