Actually McCain is treated in the movie, marginally more gently than he is on this board.

There is an unmistakable subtle message that Palin was right in the process of saving his lame butt of a campaign, until he announced his campaign "suspended".

Which I had actually blocked out of my memory until seeing it again today, it was so unpleasant.

It's a powerfully done bit of political filmmaking. There's no question of bias - though what film isn't. Sort of a reverse of any Michael Moore film. But lots nicer.

Even as someone confessing to having supported her from day one, I found new respect for Palin's job as governor, and new understanding of her decision to stand down from that job when she did. For which the movie provides clear background.

Nobody who posts on FR, will (not) like this film.
