I bought 3 tickets the day they went on sale. Drove 7 hours from Albuquerque yesterday to see the show at the Highlands Ranch theater in Colorado (tonnight at 7:15). Mysle, wife and a friend who is on the fence about Palin will attend.
Wish it was playing in Oregon Bump....
I saw it in Grapevine, Tx this morning. I hope the ones that need to see it will see it.
There is no such thing as ‘gratuitous 0bama bashing’. He deserves much more than the tongue lashing he gets.
One of my pet peeves throughout my adult life has been “high level decision makers” and some of the decisions they make.
The most recent being the distribution plan for this film. It is glaringly obvious that Pennsylvania is considered flyover country and unimportant. Maybe they’ve written off The Keystone State since it went for Obummer in ‘08.
But like Chakey Stoltzfus shouted when he saw two locomotives crash into each other: “Nah ain’t that a hun of a vay to run a railroad?!” I agree with Chakey!
John McCain wouldn’t be in charge of this deal by any chance, would he?
From the looks of the schedule, there’s one or a few prints being bicycled around in the same manner that surf films used to be distributed. In a normal feature deal, the ticket revenue goes almost entirely to the studio, and the concessions go to the theater. This kind of thing is uaually a so-called “four wall” deal, where the distributor pays rent for the theatre, then keeps all the revenue. Thus the need to have just a few showings per town. In the surf movie days, you also wanted to get out of town before the word of mouth about your film got out, not a problem here.
Which city did you see it in?
Saw it this morning out in Ahwatukee, AZ. Sixty-five mile round trip for me and my lady. Would have been worth the drive at twice the distance. The film is as entertaining as it is informative, as uplifting as it is enraging. Uplifting because her story and her indominatble spirit is so utterly American; enraging because of the horrific injustice and calumny she's suffered at the hands of so many willing assassins from both sides of the political aisle. Breitbart’s rant against the GOP eunuchs near the close of the film was dead-on. Our audience was ,nodding clapping and fist-pumping in enthusiastic agreement.
The film is a revelation and I'm going to make it a mission to get all my Lefty friends (and a few misguided anti-Palin conservative ones as well) to see this movie.
I couldn’t see it today. My Sons’ Mom wanted to visit. I’ll go on my next days off.

The hate mongers are out at the Internet Movie Data base and more likely than not have been stuffing the ballot box with bad reviews. I bet only a handful of those who give it a single star even saw the movie.
