Nebraska girl born with no arms and legs has blamed unfair scoring after she failed to make her school's cheerleading squad three years in a row.
Julia Sullivan, 16, has complained to the school board after she said she was given 'no accommodation for her disability' during try-outs.
The wheelchair user did not make the team after she received a low score in the jumps/kicks category of the trials.
Miss Sullivan got her highest marks in the communication skills and enthusiasm/spirit categories.
The Aurora High School student, who said that she likes to dance, said: 'I just think it would be fun.'

No, you HAVE to be able to see, particularly well, in fact, to fly a plane. Perhaps someone can put the controls in your hands for a few seconds the same way a politician gets to “work the crane that erects the ceremonial first girder of a new civil building” with overwhelming supervision, but it’s all a ruse.
I guess if other girls don’t make the team then no special consideration need be given.
While a parent should always push the idea to their children that they can accomplish anything at a young age as they get older those ambitions have to start facing reality. That’s just life.
I would be tempted to post the relevant Monty Python video but I do feel for the kid and admire her strong will. I wish her every success in life while at the same time fully expect her judgement and wisdom to mature over time.
