NEW YORK -- Heavily fined Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker James Harrison called NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell a "crook" and a "devil," among other insults, in a magazine article.
The 2008 AP Defensive Player of the Year hasn't been shy about ripping the league after he was docked $100,000 for illegal hits last season. In the August issue of Men's Journal, his rants against Goodell reach another level of wrath.
"If that man was on fire and I had to p*** to put him out, I wouldn't do it," Harrison told the magazine. "I hate him and will never respect him."
His other descriptions of the commissioner include an anti-gay slur, "stupid," "puppet" and "dictator."

Um, I can’t say I could ever run my mouth like this & expect to still have a job the next day. But hey, whatever.
With the old Steeler owner and family, this would be a true statement.
Harrison has been disciplined/fined by the NFL numerous times.
He talks like a spoiled brat who never had a Daddy to kick his arrogant ass at the appropriate time.
A near culture-wide problem of his demographic.
He called someone a “puppet” and a “dictator”.

His kid was a patient where I work. He was all about showing his S.B. ring to everyone & ignoring his crying screaming kid.

Well, I will say this: If, as a father, he was doing the responsible parent thing, and actually bringing his child to the doctor’s office, that puts him way ahead of the vast majority of his peers.
These words used by Harrison didn’t make me think of Goddell but a certain President comes to mind.

I used to think the two terms were mutually exclusive until Obama.
It is. A deal is basically a go and to be signed by July 21st. Free agency is going to be chaos starting last weekend of July, and aug 7 Hall of Fame preseason game played later date. The season is still pretty messed up because of this as any team that was going to have alot of holes to fill will be in scramble mode and first half of season for them is going to be trial by fire. Gonna be a cake walk year for the loaded powers like patriots and steelers.
