And she, of course, did the smartest career move in TV history since Parnell Roberts left Bonanza by having nothing to do with GI after the series concluded. I mean, look at what a huge star she became, right?
Tina Louise did appear on the mini-reunion on “Roseanne”, which was actually quite amusing (for a two-minute gag). Sherwood Schwartz appeared on that, too.
Which well known actress turned down that role before Tina got it? Or so I have read.

I heard her on a radio show and she was adamant about not talking about GI. After about ten minutes the host just thanked her for coming, because EVERY caller wanted to talk about GI and she did not. So he pretty much kicked her off the show. Very funny.
Bitch did not come close to describing her attitude.
