Those born between 1960 - 1964 used to be called ‘tweeners’ rather than boomers. They were considered to be those born between the baby boom ‘boomers’ and the baby bust ‘busters’.

I've seen three different versions of what I'm supposed to be - a Boomer, a Tweener, and the vanguard of the Gen X'ers. Best of three falls, so I'm officially not a Boomer, thank goodness.

Those born between 1960 - 1964 used to be called tweeners rather than boomers. Not really, the media is full of writers that create all kids of pet niches and various dates for boomers, but the real definition for the generation stays the same.

Truthfully I was born n 1960 and I have more incommon with gen X than I do boomers. My parents were born in ‘38 and ‘41 and were more like boomers than I am.
