There’s no leader, and goading actions like dares work against you to provoke the mob further. You want to do everything to de-escalate the pack emotions of the situation, through stance, posture, eye-contact, and most importantly voice.

What the Dog Whisperer and see how he stands, moves and presents himself to dogs acting up.

A 90 pound great grandmother can control most (not all) such situations if she keeps her wits.

The mob feeds off your energy. Just like Cesar Milan explains it for dogs and dog packs. A calm assertive, stance will usually cause the mob to move on.

Good advice -- you don't want to provoke the mob further and you don't want to seem like an easy target.

i did not realise there would be no leader.
