The woman, known only as juror number 12 left her job and went into hiding fearing co-workers would 'want her head on a platter'.
Her husband said before leaving she told him: 'Id rather go to jail than sit on a jury like this again.'
He told NBC News he was worried for her health and had his bags packed ready to leave if his 60-year-old wife's name gets released.
The woman, who moved to Florida from Michigan fled the area, retiring from her job working at Publix Grocery over the phone because she didn't feel safe.

I would have had no problem with saying guilty. You have to give me “reasonable doubt”. There is none.
I don’t like the idea, either. But the defense and/or the prosecution being able to stack the jury with people guaranteed to vote a certain way has even less appeal to me. The defense did it this time. Imagine if prosecutors take to doing it as well. Void dire is now meaningless.
Some people here must think that's what happened. God bless that precious little baby. Anyone who has a baby or grandchild would report a baby missing within MINUTES. Casey never reported that baby missing. Her mother did.
So you suggest if a jury decides a case the way you do not like that they be lynched or ostracized? I would bet if you were on that jury you would have voted Not Guilty.
Back when I was in high school a wealthy black girl started attending school with us in the middle of the year.
It turns out that her father was a court appointed attorney for 3 men who raped and murdered a girl working alone in a dairy queen. The appointed attorney had to move his family to whiteytown to hide his family from the angry mob.
driftdiver's mind is made up don't confuse him with facts.
Very good points. There was a recent case where a baby was cooked in a microwave which did not generate this much hatred.
As my first post in this thread said. I don’t care. All I had to do was read the article and realize it’s a farce to up the ante on how much her story is worth. She condemns her co-workers with no proof, yet as the group talkers have said they all discussed it early on based on non-evidence provided in opening statements that were a bunch of assertions that were never even discussed during the trial. A guilty verdict would have brought in very little, but the not-guilty verdict is likely going to be much more profitable.
Supreme Courts are Professional Juries.
I am sorry, if you really think "maybe" and you ACTUALLY followed the case then you have some doubt. Propose a theory explaining the child's death not involving Casey. YOU HAVE TO DO THAT.
You can't chastise the criticizers without proposing an alternative.
We the public have a right and a duty to scrutinize this trial. Something really bizarre happened here, you know it.
And you are attacking the juries in those cases? No? Why not?
hmmmm perhaps because you are part of the MOB
Bingo

Pretty much sums it up, doesn't it?
When I hear the O.J. jurors repeatedly say, "I wasn't there, so I don't know what happened," I thought it was bad. This is even worse.
There are always repercussions with a seriously dumbed-down, lazy society that digs in its heels and refuses to fire up the brain cells. Repercussions like President Dithers and a verdict like this.
Expect many more.
Voir dire....
Good point!
I agree, but I’d say the prosecution undercharged. It appears they were unanimous in finding that there was no evidence of cause of death. That’s the prosecution’s fault- should have charged negligent homicide, child endangerment, etc., and might have had a chance for conviction.
Okay, let loose with the “everybody KNOWS she did it/what about justice for Caylee/defense lawyer slime” responses. I’ve been a prosecutor, defense counsel and judge. This case was poorly charged, and the defense’s job is to make sure the prosecution proves each and every element of the charged offense.
Colonel, USAFR
Hopefully you schooled him and he now knows better.
You must believe Caylee placed herself in the garbage bag..placed the duct tape on her mouth..after digging the hole..after walking to the swamp..
