He said the age at which children were violent and disrespectful towards their teachers 'is coming down to nursery level'. He added: 'They’re swearing and throwing chairs at their teachers at younger and younger ages. It isn’t surprising this is happening in a domestic setting. 'Parent abuse and parent battery appear to be on the rise and what seems to underlie this is to do with parenting, the lack of boundaries and the reversal of authority.

One of the studies, from Brigham Young University, Utah, published in the American Association of Behavioural and Social Sciences Journal, found 82 per cent of parental abuse is against mothers.

Could that be because 82% of violent children don't have fathers in their homes?

Not 82% of children, total, but 82% of children who physically attack a parent. Seems reasonable to me.

Gee, ya’ think? These parents turn the child over to strangers to raise when they are 6 weeks old and don’t bother to teach the kid any manners, and then they wonder why the child is not civilized.

My two sons tried when small and received lightening fast correction once or twice. That is all it took. They are productive, well-mannered twenty-something young men now and we have super father-son relationship. I am proud of them and they love, respect and are proud of me. Screw the psycho-babble and libtard advice. An old-fashioned raisin’ is the best.

I know a family whose daughter called the police and reported her dad was beating her. She was in the ninth grade and angry that he put her on restriction for messing up.

The police raided his house and searched it “for guns.” They arrested him for child abuse even while she was telling them she lied. They took her and her brothers into foster care.

She got the idea from an intensive public school feminist re-eduation program that drilled girls on reporting men and boys for sexual harassment, date rape and violence against women.

When many mental disorders were redefined (so that children displaying even a few of the symptoms were diagnosed with the disease), too many parents used it as justification for poor parenting.

Good parents of special needs children know that you need to give them clear boundaries and firm discipline (just as you do with “normal needs” children). When this is not done, bad parents blame the victim of their child’s assault, not the evidence of their poor parenting.

My son tried this on me once. I reminded him that we lived in the country and that he would be dead by the time they got here.

Heh Heh Heh They must be learning this at school; I wouldn't doubt it.
