Dust off and nuke it from orbit. It's the only way to be sure.

Zomby Woof lyrics

Three hundred years ago
I thought I might get some sleep
I stretched myself out onna antique bed
An' my spirit did a midnite creep

You know I'll never sleep no more
It seem to me that it just ain't wise
Didja ever wake up in the mornin'
With a ZOMBY WOOF behind your eyes

Just about as evil as you could be

I am the ZOMBY WOOF
I'm that creature all the ladies been Talkin' about
I am the ZOMBY WOOF
They all seek for shelter when I come chargin' out

Tellin' you all the Zomby troof
Here I'm is, the ZOMBY WOOF
Tellin' you all the Zomby troof
Here I'm is . . .

Reety-awrighty, he da ZOMBY WOOF
Reety-awrighty, he da ZOMBY WOOF

They said aw-reety An' they was aw-righty
An' I was a Zomby for you, little lady . . .

I got a great big pointed fang
Which is my Zomby Toof
My right foot's bigger than my other one is
Like a reg'lar Zomby Hoof
If I raid your dormitorium
Don't try to remain aloof . . .

I might snatch you up screamin' through the window all nekkid
An' do it to you on the roof, don't mess with the ZOMBY WOOF

I am about as evil as a Boogie Man can be!

Tellin' you all the Zomby Troof
Here I'm is, the ZOMBY WOOF
Tellin' you all the Zomby Troof
Here I'm is, the ZOMBY WOOF
Frank Zappa, of course.

My dermatologist gave me a recipe for this. I don't know the exact proportions as I don't have the recipe in front of me or know where it is right now. Get some Petroleum jelly (not Vaseline) and some Gulf-wax(at the grocery store) Put the petroleum jelly in the container in a pan of hot water (gently boiling) to melt. Melt the Gulf Wax (I think about 1/2 of a stick) Pour out 1/3 c of the petroleum jelly and pour in the wax (into the petroleum jelly container) let cool and use every night before bed. Works very well.

This stuff works wonders. Go to http://cgi.ebay.com/UNREFINED-SHEA-BUTTER-AND-EMU-OIL-BODY-BUTTER-LOTION-/400227039076?pt=US_Skin_Care&hash=item5d2f63f764 and order a jar of it. I use it regularly, put it on and then a pair of socks.

Shea butter and emu oil—great stuff. You will definitely see a difference.

I also like to use http://cgi.ebay.com/South-France-French-Milled-Soap-Shea-Butter-/280620964639?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item4156501b1f South of France Shea Butter soap. Best soap I’ve ever used.

Neetsfoot oil.

Seriously, it’s probably caused by a fungus. See a doctor.
(I understand that they have doctors that specialize in feet.)

I use a bandage - I don’t know how to describe it, and it’s hard to find, but I found it at Walgreens - which is almost like reinforced packing tape.

I put it across the crack and pull the sides together. I have found that the most important thing is to keep the crack together, so it doesn’t crack more - then it can heal.

If I don’t do this, everytime I step it splits more, and it’s excruciating.

I second the bag balm recommend- you can find it at feed stores, ag supply places or on the internet if you aren’t near any agriculture. It is hard to beat bag balm, it is great for people that have cracked hands from being in water or whatever too.

Another great thing is Boudreaux’s Butt Paste which is fantastic diaper rash cream but works on so many other things, dry skin, sunburn, etc. I would slather BBP on the feet at night with loose fitting light socks over, I bet it would amaze you how much better it would be by morning. Our Walmart sells the butt paste.

My daughter occasionally has the same problem. The first time she complained about it was about eight or ten years ago. She was in tears, her heals hurt her so. My husband wrote a prescription for a couple of tubes of foot cream with urea as the main active ingredient. We called it “magic cream” in our family, as she went from having long, deep, painful cracks on her heals, to having them look much more healthy in a couple of days. Really, two days! She used that stuff up over a couple of years while at school. When it came time to get her some more, my husband couldn’t remember what he had prescribed for her, nor could he seem to find something comparable in a drug search, (he reads x-rays and doesn’t write many scripts) so we started searching for over the counter creams with urea in them. It seems that at least one cream at the store will have some in it, but maybe not prescription strength. Perhaps a trip to a podiatrist, dermatologist, or just your family doctor is in your future? I don’t know what it is about her that makes her susceptible to those cracks, other than being an avid runner and she does complain of dry skin. The urea in the foot cream seems to work for her.

I didn’t do it!

If your foot starts saying “I’ll swallow your soul” you know what to do.

I use Eucerin cream, too, and it helps. (It was recommended to me by my doctor.) After applying the Eucerin, like you, I put on a pair of clean white socks.

Whatever you decide works for softening up the skin, don’t just use it when your heels crack in the summer. Use it year round in the morning and night.

And use a foot stone to gently and gradualy remove the dead skin from your heal as you treat it with balm year round.

My husband had this problem and we fixed it.

Bag Balm. Lots of lanolin. And go see a dermatologist. You may need prescription strength salve.

Sounds like you may be having an allergic reaction to the shoe you are wearing in the summertime........I had something similar decades ago when I started wearing a nice walking shoe by I don't remember who. Had to go to the doctor who prescribed a medication to put on the heels and to soak my feet in hot water and epsom salts prior to the application of the medication.

The medication and the soaking did the trick, threw away the shoes and I've never had a problem since...........

If I’m not mistaken, Eucerin at one time was a prescription cream. It certainly was not widely available.

If I didn’t make clear in my last post, the purpose of putting on a sock is to keep the cream from getting on your bed or chair. But don’t walk on your foot for quite a while after coating it with the cream, otherwise more cream will go into your sock than into your foot!

Hope it helps.
