I have had opiates prescribed by veterinarians as painkillers for pet cats that underwent surgery. One time it was a patch placed on a shaved area of the cat’s head, and another time it was an oral solution. Never came with a warning to watch for life threatening side effects. Maybe the ditz wanted her furry friend to go with her on the “trip.” But I’m surprised it was that easy to kill it by merely “blowing” vapor in its face. Does this sound plausible (vvd) or might she have done something else to the cat too?
Until I see the toxicology report I’m calling BS on this one.
While at work on another computer.
You can lead a cat to a druggie exhaling smoke, but you can't make it inhale on cue.

And kitty replied, “You haz no hero qwalitay.”
“The girl could receive a longer sentence for the demise of the cat than for the heroin.
In the meantime, Casey Anthony goes free for the total neglect of her child. Where is the justice in that?”
Answer: Cats got rights. Ask any one in Boulder.
BoulderPersons are whirling eyed crazy.
There, fixed it :-)
“...was it her intent to kill the cat?”
That seems unlikely, doesn’t it? I mean, I’m surprised that would kill a cat, a least a full grown cat.
I once had a little kitten get pretty drunk on egg nog (accidently), and it was alright after it slept it off. And the poor little thing ran into the wall a couple of times. It was really amusing in a sad/embarrasing/guilty sort of way.
And my mother-in-law, who was a RN and really did know better once gave 2, count ‘em 2, phenobarbitals to her cat. These were pills left behind by her husband who ultimately died of his brain illness, for which he’d had multiple surgeries. Dad-in-law was 6’6”, had to weigh 275, and took 1/2 of 1 pill a day. M-I-L gives 10 pound kitty 2 (!), because she was having her rugs shampooed.
She called our house and told my hubby, I think I killed my cat. Oooh boy, that was a great conversation.
Well, the cat was fine after snoozing through it’s medically induced 3 day coma.
And, finally, I had a cat who hid in a closet for 3 solid days.
I myself would find it hard to convict this woman just because she had the bad luck to find a cat on it’s 9th life.
That K9 sounds like he took “drug dog” a little TOO seriously.

Casey Anthony was sentenced to several years in jail. She has been locked up nearly the whole way through.
Maybe if ones life didnt revolve around being a wanna-be moderator/thread police...you’d know more, just sayin!
Poor kitty what a witch.
Actually, she’s a very pretty girl. She’s just got the look of a drug addict with a bad habit.
Here’s hoping she gets the help she obviously desperately needs. She’s young enough that if her life gets together, everything can change for her.
You make it sound like it was premeditated murder. ;D
So they arrest her for this, but not for posession and use of illegal drugs? Peta seems to be running the show over there.
I thought you were leaving:
