Renowned playwright, writer, director David Mamet talks with Sean Hannity about his transformation from "brain-dead Liberal" to Conservative, and discusses his new book about Leftist politics in Hollywood, The Secret Knowledge. Mamet, who happens to be Jewish, also shares his thoughts about Netanyahu and Israel.
Very good interview.

The Judge’s interview with David. http://video.foxbusiness.com/v/983948436001/david-mamets-metamorphosis
Dave is in his 60’s, already made plenty of money and may be looking for fresher pastures.
He is still the guy I knew in K-12 school (a few years ahead of me) who would challenge anyone to arm wrestle. Don’t mess with Dave Mamet.
Do you think his book is worth the read? Anyone on the thread read it yet?
“Career is now, if it was not already, officially over.”
Did you listen to the interview? When asked the question of whether conservatives in Hollywood are penalized, he said it depended on where you were in the hierarchy. If one had commercial value/successes and was of benefit to the corporate interests, then no. But he also said that for those who were still struggling or just starting to grow, then yes, they were suddenly shunned and often fired. (I’ve heard Voigt, Sinise, Breitbart and other Hollywood conservatives say the same thing, but Mamet’s now written a book about it! And I bet it’ll be a best-seller :-)
He’s a huge, proven success many times over. That’s why it’s so gratifying to hear someone of his stature be conservative (even better, a convert!), speak out and tell the truth about how it REALLY is in la-la land.
Thanks for that!
