Today is the day she may walk free. Prepare yourselves.
Call me Pollyanna, but the Judge did give FingerBoy 6 days. Hopefully he has scoured the law so she can cool her heels a little longer.
LOL..thanks.
I agree, panic and fear cause people to do some rather irrational things. It sounds to me like that whole family was rather prone to rash behavior anyway.
Actually, the tape was NEAR her face. the body was so decomposed and with the water, etc. who knows if it was actually ON her mouth and nose...Got this tonight from the Prosecutor on tv tonight.
Is it any wonder that the jury sensed "reasonable doubt"?

Yes, Casey likely will be back under her mothers roof. And it will be because she wants to be. And Cindy will not be able to turn Casey away. Though I think it will take some time before that occurs.
If you recall George filled for divorce from Cindy a few years ago. George and Cindy’s marital issue’s are directly and indirectly a result of the relationsip Cindy has with Casey....he lost the battle to get Casey in line a long time ago. And no doubt George’s homelife played a role in the loss of jobs etc. Issues’ abounded with Casey...and came the time George had no say...as family members have stated. It was “all what Cindy wanted”.
The center of the family does seem to be Cindy...a “matriarch” so to speak. But necessary given how Cindy was. I think though George tried to oppose some of the things his wife insisted on concerning Casey, he also recognized that his wife was basically the only one who could keep the peace in the household....for whatever short durations there were of those.
Caley balanced the relationship between Cindy and George....the “joy” of both their lifes. Caley was everything that Casey no longer was....and Casey knew that. So not unusual that she was jealous of her own daughter.
It is quite astounding the number of peoples lifes which were impacted by Casey. Sociopaths generally leave a trail of broken lifes behind them.
It doesn’t matter how or what the evidence showed now...it’s a done deal. However the duct tape had no reason to be with a little girl of 3 yrs. old laying in her death bed without foul play somewhere.
Nice try, but you only heard part of the story. In 100% of cases with fully decomposed skeletal remains, the mandible (jaw bone) naturally falls away from the rest of the skull bones once decomposition is complete (there is nothing left to hold the jaw bone to the rest of the skull).
In Caylee's case, duct tape was holding the jaw bone and hair intact with the rest of the skull. Another piece of duct tape was found some distance away.
Her hair was entangled in the tape and the tape held the mandible in place, which normally falls away. Since it held the mandible in place it had to be right there.
I've considered the swimming accident theory quite carefully but it always falls through with the time lines and other factors which throw it out.
I still say those who believe in the swimming pool theory should start a thread and see if they can make it fit. “Prove” it was the swimming accident.
Thank you NautiNurse...interesting to read about the body itself, and what was possible to determine.
I also read the bugs found at the site were also found in the trash at the Anthony’s home.
Alternate theory: Caylee committed suicide.
A lightning strike at the place where her remains were thrown—contrast that with the rainbow that came out on the day Scott Peterson was convicted.
God shows himself once again.
;) Got it.
People in 1958 rejected the Ford Edsel, ridiculed it and nobody bought it. So by your logic all those people hated all cars, the entire automotive industry?
Its called deduction. There is no Yahoo video with here killing her child. THe correct question is who, other than Casey could have put the tape there?
Are you a lawyer or do you make your living in the justice system?
“lying charges”
The term “lying” is what hurt the prosecution in this case. Evidently lying was a way of life for Casey, it was used thousands of times in testimony and lost it’s signifigance. This time Casey was creating people and excuses to COVER UP a crime. Even her actions from June through July were a COVER-UP to pretend to friends everything was normal, instead they offered it as a personality trait.
see above
Since it was women who set up the FR daily thread re this trial and mostly women who followed it (certainly the bulk of women I communicated with) I would say it was the pain of watching a beautiful child coldly killed by her mother and abandoned in a swamp.
And since women are brilliant multi-taskers we can also mourn our troops and mourn Caylee as well.
