Today is the day she may walk free. Prepare yourselves.
Call me Pollyanna, but the Judge did give FingerBoy 6 days. Hopefully he has scoured the law so she can cool her heels a little longer.
What an excellant and articulate post!
You have really given an overview that is sensitive and well thought out. You present us with ‘reality” and I think that the emotional responses are also about the fear that this could happen and we can not protect ourselves or children. The police do the best they can so often, but they are human too.
You point out how shocked people were at the mother partying...that also enrages people who are so connected to their loved ones, they could not have behaved this way. It really does to most of us, just seem inconceivable. But, that is reality in this case. And the emotions are of our helplessnes to save this child....the reality is there are many such situations and we know that and yet we don’t want to know that.
“A jury is charged with examining the evidence.”
Apparently this jury thought they were on a reality show.
CSI Florida....they were stupid and they didn’t request one iota of evidence to review.
Not one transcript....lazy assed and weak minded.
My husband and I noticed that. These people seemed very disinterested in going over any evidence or weighing anything they heard.
This jury and more like them will be very lucrative for the criminal.
A nice, clean gotcha with the DNA and intact body absolves the jury from having to think too much and actually assess what really happened.
It also makes them feel good because they didnt have to make a tough decision. It was easier this way.

There were other things she was jailed for. I heard something mentioned and I wondered if anyone else heard it.
It wasn’t the check kiting, it was something to do with internet material. I could be wrong.
Release date 7/13/11. Less than 1 wk
July 13, 2011? Good grief!
The court spokesperson says she will be released July 13 — next week.
She’s getting out on July 13. OMG.
“The prosecutor himself admitted that they couldnt prove that it was actually a murder.”
An outrageous claim,,,give the quote with a link.
“The prosecution could have either tried to prove murder or accident but not both. “
LOL, you obviously didn’t watch the trial. They charged and proved murder with evidence.
“They stressed murder but couldnt prove even cause of death.”
You don’t have to prove cause of death to prove murder...(ok, you obviously don’t know what you are talking about)
Six more days..........she WILL be met with protesters.
NEXT WEDNESDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That is what they wanted. Some knew she was guilty, the evidence may have been circumstantial, but I believed the evidence was good evidence.
Scott Peterson was convicted on less evidence. No manner of death either.
People want the smoking gun. If they don’t have it they get petulant and don’t want to weigh the facts.
Killer Tramp walks on July 13th. Next week.
Killer tramp! I like that, much better than “totmom.”
I don’t know how to respond to your questions other than to say I don’t understand the relevance of elections to the present case.
If you want to see a contrast, look at the discussions over at the Wall St. Journal. Many, not all, of the comments are more rational than what can be found here.
One would hope. But they have already stated they will sneak her out to release back into society. I have a feeling she will not be seen or heard of for awhile.
“Jesse Grunds father had Lee pegged. Read his interview at the link above.”
Do you think Jesse will file or has a civil suit?
Casey Anthony will leave jail July 13 — next week! $4,600 fine that she pays in $20 increments.
That means she could get out July 13 at 1201AM or anytime after on that date
