Today is the day she may walk free. Prepare yourselves.
Call me Pollyanna, but the Judge did give FingerBoy 6 days. Hopefully he has scoured the law so she can cool her heels a little longer.
“At least it would take a little of the profit out of her upcoming media cash cow.”
The fact that there is the possibility of a ‘media cash’ bonanza is disgusting and says a lot about the current state of the nation. There would be no media interest if there wasn’t an audience out there for it. There would be no profit for this if people didn’t tune in.
Actually, he could have said they cannot count time served, that was his decision under FL law according to the talking heads.
Forgive the error, I meant consecutively.
NOT concurrent..it’s consecutive..
Not concurrently.
Consecutively. Four years in total—one year for each count of false statements to police.
Wait, judge put the attorney who gave the bird in jail?
I happen to agree with you.
I think she was probably guilty, but not beyond a reasonable doubt.
The constitutional restraints on government, and the burden it must meet to deprive a person if liberty is intentionally high.
In a world where government power seems nearly endless, it is comforting to know they can’t just lock us up and send us off to camps on a whim like is done in so many countries.
I think the right to trial by jury, right to counsel and confrontation preserve freedoms for us in ways that we have come to take for granted.
These principles are more important than any one case.
Ms. Anthony will get hers in the end. God is not bound by Double Jeapardy.
Actually, she WAS convicted of lying and how do they seperate that out from the murder acquital? Any profit from any of this should NOT be allowed.
Same ol poker face now. Sort of pouty.
You already caught your mistake—didn’t mean to pile on.
The little POS wants it all. I am truly sick at this point. What about Caylee?
Yes, he could have, but given that the jury ACQUITTED her of all the top counts..it would have wrong to do so..
White, female, 32, living with mother. However, she is an RN student. Hah!
No Applebee’s tonite for CA!
I agree! If I was on that jury, it would have been deadlocked because no way would I agree to a “not-guilty” verdict.
I think it was someone just attending the trial.
Court costs. She can appeal.
The Defense made a big mistake celebrating in public the other day.
