Speakin' for myself as a native Texan I'll say this. I ain't got nothin' against "Yanks" movin' to Texas.....
Provided those "Yanks" are a hundred percent red blooded All American conservatives.....

I'll tell ya now what I'm sick and tired of.....
It's those damn yanks who come here to get away from liberal states and then bitch all day, everyday about how Texas should become more like their home state.....
I'm tried of those kind of "Yanks".....
I believe you'll find a lot of Texans who'll say the same as I have.....
That has happened where I loved in GA and NC.
I asked one such complainer “if it was so much better back there then why are you here?”
Her answer, “the weather and lower taxes.”
Couldn’t get her to understand that there was a reason her taxes were higher back there and it had something to do with all the stuff she now said she missed and wanted.
I compeltely understand where you’re coming from. As I have stated, my sister and I are red blooded Conservative Americans; which is why we want OUT of NY.
My little village that I work and live in (Huntington Village, NY) is conservative. Every “fest” we have, I am my own “one man band” Tea Party.
But yet I am consistently disappointed when the elections are over that my Conservative “peeps” have lost.
Probably explains why I hate to leave my own little village.
