OS ANGELES – Legal experts and scientists were quick to issue a verdict of their own following the shocking “not guilty” decision announced today in the Casey “Tot Mom” Anthony trial: the 12 jurors who were assigned to the OJ “The Juice” Simpson case are no longer the 12 dumbest people on the planet.
The Juice, a former NFL star running back and master knife wielder, was found not guilty in the “trial of the century” in 1995 despite a mountain of evidence to the contrary.
“But at least they had an excuse, an ulterior motive, for liberating The Juice,” explains Dr. Timothy Miser, a law professor, psychiatrist and talk-show host with the Buckhead Community College in Atlanta.

it is not up to the prosecution to prove cause of death or motive, a reasonable man/woman knows that a dumped body with duct tape over the mouth spells murder. That is the crime she was charged with, murder. The jurors bought into the Jonny Cochran defense that if you don’t know everything that happened, then there is reasonable doubt. That is a lie that they rationalized - the simple fact is that any position can be spun two ways, that is why society has abandoned morals but who are we to tell someone else what is right or wrong.
No DNA no case,see law.
Thats nothing, wait until the day Obama is in court with all the evidence of absolutely every crime he has done from the multiple SS numbers, his campaign contributions and if I quoted them all I would be typing for the next 6 hours.
But when his verdict is read it will be the same, NOT guilty.
Face it America, the justice sytem in America has gone out the window.
They will ruin an honest man in a heartbeat or kill him, and they will protect the guilty.
Does America need a hero, a leader who is real, or do we need another global flood?
Those two trials only compare in their common reaction of outrage over the verdict. I don't think in this trial there was a case of jury nullification.
My statement that media hysteria is less reliable than jurors that heard the case is not an illogical position as you state. Your logical reply to that statement, by the way, would be that there is not media hysteria over this case and thus my premise is false.
Before DNA i.e. 1980's, how did ANYONE get convicted?

The maggots and worms eat what was left of her body. She was in a swampy area for months.
One of the alternate jurors made a statement that just astounded me. He said, “There wasn’t anything at the crime scene that we could connect to Casey Anthony.” Duh, how about the duct taped skeletal remains in a plastic bag of HER two year old child that they found her guilty of lying to police as to her whereabouts for six months.
There's no "solid evidence" that God created the universe, and our religious leaders have had a hard time proving it to us., sooooooooo, do you believe God created the universe??
Speaking of common sense.......I guess it's not so common these days.
They didn't have to put her to death, but she should have gotten life.

What the hell diffenece did it make HOW she was killed.....she was killed, put into the trunk of her mom’s car and then DUMPED in a SWAMP for critters to eat her!!
I am VERY surprised at Freepers who think she's innocent or worse yet, think she DID it but that the prosecution didn't have the cause of death.
I USED to think that 99.9% of Freepers were great thinkers.....I'm re-thinking that one.
I assume you are smart enough to know that because she was in a SWAMP for so long, the DNA wwas DESTROYED!! You awarded her mom, the KILLER, because she dumped her in a swamp.

You are warped. The system manifestly does not work. The innocent are convicted every day. The guilty are set free every day.
The weakest link is the jury. As long as people like you keep staffing juries with stupid, incompetent people injustices and outrages will continue to be the product of your system.
If she were a man, she would have absolutely been convicted. Ponder the implications of that for your system.

I also recall the judge commenting on the evidence that was submitted and its relevancy to the case.
To me he was saying. “ Pay close attention, because that’s the key to this case. Not the hype etc.”
In other words Who, What, When, Where and Why were not proven beyond a reasonable doubt.
Sad part is we will not know who killed Caylee, or how this person or family played a role in the act or true knowledge of what happened.
