Yes it was a tragic morning yesterday. I kept having to remind myself that we are no longer the leader in manned space flight and it ended instantly overnight with wheel stop. If President Bush's vision and plan were still in place we would be full bore on flying again as early as 2013. Right now, there is a 2015 or 2016 date, but it keeps getting pushed back. A LOT can happen in, well, frankly, just a few months, let alone 5 years.

Americans want independent access to the space station. The muslim WILL take the fall for this when more and more of them realize that it was on 'his watch' that we lost this key position in world power that we have enjoyed since it all began.

I have the song from the 60's, "Telstar" by The Astronauts, on my mp3 player and it came on as I rode my bike out from work today, and my throat got real tight and tears flowed.

I feel so helpless to stop this monster and his annihilation of our culture, our society and our Constitution.

Dear God, please help us. Amen.
