Court Reporters usually use a machine to take shorthand though. I don't see her moving her hands or a machine like this though.

I have been watching this trial since the beginning. I just have a question. Is it normal procedure in trials for potential witnesses to wait outside before being called to testify?

If so, why were Cindy, George and Lee allowed to sit inside the court during the proceedings; would this not influence their testimonies, to a degree, when called to the stand??
