No way in hell there is an acquittal. No way in hell.
Probably not in this trial but maybe in the next one. This one will be reversed on appeal anyway.
I think Casey is guilty (and a crazy bitch), but the state didn't prove that she actually killed the baby. It would be easy to convict her for being a head case, but there just isn't any evidence that directly points to Casey actually doing the deed. In fact, they weren't even able to say specifically what the "deed" was.
As much as I wish she would have to pay for what happened, the law is the law and guilt must be proved.
