“I don’t think it would stop her from the death penalty”.
I read somewhere that death penalty cases get automatic appeals and usually takes about 12 years before being carried out. I don’t believe it is ever automatic. So, even if she is pregnant (and I personally don’t think so), she would have plenty of time to have the child.
I am very curious as to how this judge will handle the FL Supreme Court ruling about the death penalty being declared unconstitutional. This jury was sequestered when the ruling came down and may not know about it.
