No it isn’t. There was a dead woman and a deteriorated body, no cause of death. There was no video of Scott killing her, no admission of guilt. It was circumstantial evidence, which they have in this case as well. In fact, in the Peterson case, Lacy was able to leave on her own, drive somewhere that “could” have meant she was exposed to other dangers. This child wasn’t able to leave on her own - she was last seen with her Mother.

I read somewhere from some shrink (sorry can’t recall who) That Peterson basically committed exactly the same sort of murder as Casey did for the same reason. They called it an “Erasure Murder.” That these kind of killers want to completely remove the people they kill from their lives. Peterson could have gotten divorced and Casey could have let her parents adopt Caylee but for both of them that was not enough. They had to make the unwanted person totally gone so they could live the life they imagined they deserved.
