Good Morning to all, and Happy Independence Day.
There are also sure to be courtroom fireworks as the State gives it rebuttal and the case is expected to be sent to the jury.
Court is starting early today at 8:30 a.m.
The countdown for justice for Caylee begins.
did you notice theWeiner scandal? how about clinton’s scandal? do you know who paris hilton is, or lindsay lohan?
This whole family 'invited' the media from the get go. They are being torn apart because of their daughter Caseys life and behavior.
And yes this is America's media...when you invite them into your world..I guarantee you they will come in.
What I heard (for the first time) are the details about the opening argument by defense and the hideous/vile accusations (in graphic terms) toward George Anthony.
I couldn't believe Baez could be so monstrously hurtful & accusatory in his opening....(I didn't hear it)...
My sil told me exactly what he said.....and I'm still reeling.
He never produced one scintilla of proof....and just last night, on FOX, two commentators, one being ABLOW....continued with in this direction even though it was not fact........just more stories told my Casey!
It's too bad George can't sue Baez for defamation of character.
Everyone there are certain she's guilty, but uncertain how the jury will
I probably won't do a new live thread until the verdict comes down, unless I decide to do a "verdict watch" thread for today. We may not hear much until verdict time. TK
She could have been charging money for ‘services’ (100% complete speculation on my part)
What was Tony’s involvement after she was arrested? He dropped off the radar too- was he done with her after she was arrested?
This one goes to what we've all thought was the main reason Casey didn't want little Caylee around:
8. Anthonys friend Amy Huizenga said Anthony is someone who starts believing her lies. She said Anthony brought Caylee to a few adult parties held at night, which Huizenga didnt like. When questioned by detectives, Huizenga said, I think something accidentally happened . . . Casey freaked out. I dont know how she solved that problem. But then created this story in her head . . .
That tape was chilling to be sure, but also very revealing of just how Casey operates.
You are totally correct. First, the arrest tapes, jailhouse tapes and footage of the trial will all be studied to see what makes this girl tick.
Then, all of it and the findings will be used as a teaching tool.
I wonder how long it will be before Dr.s and even students no longer find new aspects to Casey's warped personality? (((shudder)))
I couldn't find anything in those paragraphs that I'd disagree with in regards to Casey's behavior based on what we've seen.
..said juror # 3 came to court today dressed in a suit....
..and the commentator said this is the first time this juror has ever come to court in a suit.
Today could be the day.
It kind of looks that way. He did testify at the trial. I didn’t see it though.
I doubt this Tony is spending much time worrying about a relationship with Casey.
He probably has moved on.
The only thing I fault George Anthony for was not pursuing the smell of a dead body in the trunk of the car. I truly believe at that time that he had to have had thoughts of something having happened to Caylee, especially when Cindy was hearing from/being in touch with Casey, but no communication at all with Caylee. Surely, it must have gone through his mind, and I think he didn’t want to “go there” ... didn’t want to think about the possibility that Caylee was in the trunk of the car dead. Just IMHO.
If ANYONE still wonders if George was covering up an accidental drowning- watch this video.
Casey is her usual pathological self- but George is so clearly not involved in it in any way..he’s trying so hard not to step on her toes.
Very good assessment of Casey. Explains why she does things in the way that she does.
Probably most people who really don’t understand what they are dealing with can easily feel sorry for Casey. Poor Casey, it was just an accident and she was scared. I know some who think that. And they are wrong because they don’t see who she is.
Those are the people we have to worry may be jurors.
I’ll answer that. Hell yes!
Hi Guennie. I haven’t been watching the trial much, but I do read the re-caps provided by FReepers.
Contrast Casey’s “tears” as the condition of her baby’s body was being described with that of her mother, Cindy’s weeping and sobbing and the agony she was experiencing on the stand as she listened to the 911 call she made upon first learning that Caylee had been “missing” for 31 days. IMHO, Casey - all fake, phoney, whatever you call it...IMHO there has been nothing genuine about any of her tears throughout this entire trial.
And the only reason she was back at home was because her mother, along with her friend Amy, went and “retrieved” her from Tony’s place. Even then once she was home, she is recorded on tape in the background as saying something to the effect of “give me one more day” while her mother was on one of her 911 calls.
