I was not very informed about what actually took place. It bothers me quite a bit when politicians pull routines like this. If I remember correctly, Cindy did have a problem with some pain killers didn’t she?

At any rate, these were disgusting ploys.

McCain had every right to be angry about it. I think Bush should have been fair game for McCain to trash at every opportunity. Where I went south on that idea, is when McCain started trashing sound policy to get back at him.

That wasn’t just hurting Bush, but also the nation.

McCain has been a crusty old ass for decades. I would far rather have had Bush be president, but you win those things by merit, not using dirty tricks.

I’m no Bush fan by any means either.
