Good Morning to all. Closing Arguments are today.
I apologize in advance if you were either left off today's ping list or included in error. I am not at home and forgot to forward my pinglist to my friend's house, so I've had to check some older threads and reconstruct as many names as possible. If I missed you I'm sorry.
I probably won't be able to post much on this thread, but after I am home I will keep my ear to the television/radio for the jury decision, and will ping again when I hear so we can have a discussion thread.
Let me know if you want on or off the ping list.
The money is what just doesn’t work for Casey. No job...no money.
I was wondering the same thing. Also, my husband and I work and we would know if our son had a real job or not.
That doesn't fit with accident. I was saying the same thing you were but I can't make that neck breaking search fit that theory.
Cindy oughta be in a cell right next to her daughter. Perjury has now become just fine and dandy. Sworn testimony is meaningless, more Anthony family roadkill.
Boy, if looks could kill, we all know where Ashton would be.
I agree! I am sooo tired of the trial replacing the news on tv, especially FOXNews. Meanwhile, a plea bargain was arranged for a murder that concerns me more. Now we await sentencing.
Chloroforming a kid and putting her in the trunk of a car is not murder??? Wow! Do we have different perspectives.
Actually, I don’t think the State has proven the chloroform. But I believe strongly that Casey murdered that kid.
Ha! Maybe her head shakes are because he missed one of her lies!
I thought that from the start. Zanny the Nanny is Zanex. Still there is no evidence of either. The state based their case on her Bizarre Behavior. This Kangaroo Court will be reversed.
When I lived with my parents, my mother knew almost everything about what I was doing without me telling her anything. She was amazing in that regard - not that I appreciated it, lol! In retrospect, kept me in line. Thanks, Mom!
I had assumed Lily meant premeditation and the death penalty. Maybe I got it wrong...
I don’t believe the state has proven anything - that is probably why they never let me do jury duty. I get as far as “Occupation?” - “Rocket Scientist.” and they send me home.
No, sociopathy is not a defense. Sociopaths are aware of reality and their actions, they just don't care. My point was that it's a bit of a stretch to blame this on the breakdown of society. There always has been and always will be a certain segment of the population which is incapable of having any regard whatsoever for others. That's the basic definition of sociopathy. Casey Anthony and Bernie Madoff are two good examples.
You’ve been wrong about everything so far so I doubt there is going to be a reversal - if the jury votes to convict her.
How’s that theory about George abusing Casey and then murdering the kid working out for you?
Is Ashton following the lies timeline in his closing?
Yes he is- following exactly- although much of what’s in the timeline isn’t in evidence- he’s still got plenty to provide.
Casey’s house is about 15 mins from me and I tried to ignore this case for 3 years..but got hooked 3rd week of trial and am playing catch up. It’s fascinating as much from a legal view as it is from a human one..
There will after a few years of appeals. But Judge Roy Bean will get his conviction. He is not an impartial judge. This was not a fair trial. Maybe a jury member will hang the jury. You never know. A Kangaroo Court. The Judge is the head Kangaroo. He set himself up as the Gatekeeper of the evidence and refused to allow the defense to put on its case to the jury. Why bother having a jury? It will be reversed without a doubt.
And IIRC, if Caylee died while her mother was abusing her, even if her mother didn’t intend to kill Caylee, then the charge can be bumped to first degree. I can see how the jury might have doubts about premeditation, but that Caylee died while her mother was abusing her is a no-brainer.
Are you listening to this devastating recital of lies? Maybe you’re not following the case closely.
This is the first time I’ve seen Ashton at work. Pretty damn good!
Ashton sure is thirsty.
