When I lived with my parents, my mother knew almost everything about what I was doing without me telling her anything. She was amazing in that regard - not that I appreciated it, lol! In retrospect, kept me in line. Thanks, Mom!

I can relate to that having raised a daughter also. I called her on any “story” she fed me when I had reason to suspect she was being deceptive. Didn’t always make for great relations but she was my daughter, not my friend.
