Some controversy with that, I think. Contador was in the group that crashed ...maybe they were inside the 3k limit.

I like the new style Jean-Francois Pescheux is bringing to the tour. Scraping the short TT prologue was cool and no the flat, fast and relatively short TTT is a good chance to level out the GC --- for a while at least. The trend of no dominant leader or team should continue well into the hills.

Contador was involved/held up by a crash 8km out.

There was another crash 2km out. Andy Schleck was involved in that.

The riders in both crashes finished together. The Schleck crash riders had the 3km rule apllied, but not the Contador crash group.

The official tour site has Schleck 6" back and Contador 1'20" back.

The two groups finishing together makes it confusing<.p>
