His only alternative is to request to resign the case, and there is no way Perry would let him out at this time.
Good point about Mason not being able to resign the case at this late stage. Meanwhile- he WAS the one who asked for the competency eval- and it wasn’t frivolous or Perry wouldn’t have allowed it...I am more curious about what prompted that than almost anything.
Baez is a nightmare- I can’t imagine who his clients will be after this trial.
