Good morning to all.
I thought I would get this thread up bright and early so I could concentrate on work until the trial begins. I believe it starts at 9:00 a.m. today.
The State is presenting its important rebuttal case, which will include two Gentiva representatives, one of which will likely be a custodian of records. That person would need to authenticate Cindy's time sheets, which were subpoenaed. The State plans to admit that evidence to impeach her testimony that it was she, and not Casey, who did the computer searches on chloroform. The chloroform searches go directly to premeditation, a critical element in a death penalty case.
I understand that closing arguments will be heard Saturday (tomorrow) and then the jury will "get deliberated." (I love saying that!)
Time to put on a big pot of coffee...
Family court, yes. That’s where I saw “my” Baez. My husband’s ex hired one and their divorce was bifurcated and dragged on for over five years. Whenever you have a “hostage” (the death penalty candidate, the poor little children) such a lawyer’s sleazy tactics tend to be much more successful in court.
ugh, we get to hear more from the River Cruz after commercial break.
Enough, my laugh-o-meter blew up.
I saw her interviewed yesterday and she pulled out the fake crying routine.....no tears whatsoever!
I thought she was a convicted con woman?
Already done. :-)
You mentioned you served on a sequestered jury - how did you feel afterwards? Did things you heard later affect your feelings about the verdict your group rendered?
Good morning all-I guess I’m glad they are in reccess-I overslept today lol. Thanks for the note transcript maggie!
REALLY she lies to the Cops under oath. But tells the NATIONAL ENQUIRER the truth for $4000. buckaroos. YEAH I believe her. NOT!
How about stalker? She seems fatal to me.
The case will be in appeals courts for years regardless of anything.
She has a sister she is close to. They sound like the type who latch on to people like the Anthony’s for money and attention.

If you click on civil cases and traffic cases and type in Krystal Holloway, you will see that Krystal Holloway lied under oath yesterday. She said the media was lying about her having legal troubles so she went to the National Enquirer.
Yesterday in two of the cases she owed $80.00. Today the balance is $0. One case she owed $430.00, today the balance is $0.
All together she owed close to $1300.00 before three of them suddenly got paid yesterday. If she owed this money, how did she loan George several thousand dollars like she said yesterday? She was even evicted in Feb. 2008, six months before she met George. She just wants her 15 minutes and all the money she can make off of the Anthony name.
The main thing (of many) that makes me not belive ChrystalRiverHollowayCruzandanyothernamesthatsoundlikeacasino, was how she kept parsing the words regarding George Anthony saying he believed it was an accident. Clearly, she testified in a deposition he said he believed it had to be an accident but she would say yes to that and then say no to Ashton asking it -
Insofar as the rebuttal case, I don't believe it is supposed to be that lengthy. I thought I heard the State say it would not take an entire day, maybe 1/2 day.
You and faucetman are obviously here to pull everyone’s chain. No one can possibly be as illogical as you two.
I believe Cindy and George might well have cooked up a “friendly relationship with George” in order to look closer at how feasible it might be to spin Cruz into Zanny the Nanny. That is so in keeping with the things they’ve (esp. Cindy) have been doing to protect Casey. I don’t like Cruz but IF George was getting close to her in order to use her for Casey’s benefit...well then I’d be doing the same thing she is. Sticking it to him good and hard. These Anthony people are not nice people.
I think the latter.
Baez just wanted to ring some bells. As we know, they cannot be unrung. It only takes ONE juror to hang up the jury, remember.
bflr! finger boy friday!
Good info dfc1 - thanks. My question is this: If this woman truly loaned or gave George money, why didn’t the defense bring that up with proof? Does she routinely keep thousands of dollars in her house or did she have to go to the bank and withdraw money? She can’t show how she withdrew money, he didn’t deposit it
