Good morning to all.
I thought I would get this thread up bright and early so I could concentrate on work until the trial begins. I believe it starts at 9:00 a.m. today.
The State is presenting its important rebuttal case, which will include two Gentiva representatives, one of which will likely be a custodian of records. That person would need to authenticate Cindy's time sheets, which were subpoenaed. The State plans to admit that evidence to impeach her testimony that it was she, and not Casey, who did the computer searches on chloroform. The chloroform searches go directly to premeditation, a critical element in a death penalty case.
I understand that closing arguments will be heard Saturday (tomorrow) and then the jury will "get deliberated." (I love saying that!)
Time to put on a big pot of coffee...
It’s not pertinant that Caylee’s neck was not broken. The fact of the matter is that Casey was looking for ways to kill Caylee, not that she actually used neck-breaking as a method. I know nothing about martial arts but does it actually teach anything about neck-breaking?!!
I don't know about the neck breaking, but google "liver shot" or "spleen shot" if you want an idea of what Casey Anthony was looking for in terms of the "ruptured spleen" search.
It seemed pretty clear to me that on the day she claimed to be at home searching for chloroform she was actually at work - and a very long work day at that - 8:00am - 5:45pm, approximately. That was good enough for me but then I firmly believe that Casey is guilty as hell and Cindy is a crazed liar with no ability to see how fake her lies sound to ordinary people. In other words, Cindy - as well as Casey - lacks empathy.
I always thought Cindy’s eyes looked dead - for all her crying. Very dark, very unwinking. I hate to be her patient!
Do you think Cindy did this knowing she would be caught? How could she not know? There is no doubt Casey is involved in the death of Caylee to some degree. But I think George and Cindy are too. A lot of exculpatory evidence was kept out by Ashton. Baez is so unqualified in the rules of evidence.
I think Cindy has no ability to see how others view her lies. She lacks empathy. I don’t believe either of the parents were involved in Caylee’s death. I do think they both were in the cover-up, although George to a lesser degree. I think he was a pawn with these two witches.
I think George may have been involved in the death.
I know you do. Let’s see how the closing arguments spin that scenario.
Are they in recess until tomorrow morning?
Oh dear. That horrible Baden woman is on HLN.
Baez was restricted and still is by the Judge and State from presenting it. I have a real hang up with the George and Cindy PI’s. They were sent to “find” the body by George and Cindy. Do you really think a “Psychic” knew where it was? But it was not there...Kronk?? The car with the scent of a body and chloroform. It was at Amscott 3 days before being towed. According to George he had no idea for the week before about where Casey or the car were. But when he went to get the car he told the Mgr of the impound the car was at Amsott 3 days. He smelled a dead body in the car when he arrived at impound. His daughter and granddaughter wer “missing”. He is an ex-homicide detective but he did not treat it as a crime scene or notify the Police. These are just a few of the inconsistencies. Who had the easiest access to Chloroform...CINDY where she worked. Maggots inside the Pizza box. Maybe the maggots ate all the rotting food that caused some odors. Too many things that do not add up.
I have no interest in the two goof-ball PIs who the Anthonys employed or the mindreader. These three stooges do not play any role in my opinion that Casey Anthony is guilty. I do not believe Mr. Kronk took home Caylee’s skeletal remains like some sort of meter reader Norman Bates. My belief in her guilt comes from her lifelong criminal activities (covered up by her parents) culminating in the disapperance of her daughter while she got tattoos and had photos of herself taken while throwing up into a toilet. She is a psychotic liar as is her mother. And, furthermore, unlike you, I do not believe the prosecutors are somehow mixed up in a conspiracy to strap poor little Casey into Ole Sparkey. Personally, I hope she gets life in prison without parole but who knows? She may walk and then you and Geraldo can walk off into the screaminsunshine.
Understandable. You have no interest in the evidence. That is my point.
No testimony today - so go out and enjoy the day, lol! They meet again tomorrow. Perfect excuse not to watch the Sunday screamfests.
You think that maggots on a pizza caused “the smells” but I have no interest in evidence?
I think you just like to argue for the sake of arguing. Let’s both quit it.
Yes. It seems as though, after poking through a menu of murder methods, she settled on chloroform as easiest for her. I do not for an instant think Caylee drowned.
Look. The state claimed the garbage was just wrappings without any meat in them, OK. Maybe the Maggots ate the meat up. Get it? That is what Maggots do. Maggots are Fly Pupae. They are worms that turn in to flys and they feed on meat.
No interest in evidence? I believe she stated several issues that are evidence. Do you think that only physical evidence counts? Not so. Circumstantial evidence can be just as powerful. In Anthony’s case, it is compelling.
One thing- among many- bothers me. Where did Casey make the chloroform? The smell would be pretty overwhelming and noticable- also it’s a little tricky to make- not as hard as meth- but not easy. There would have been trips to drugstores or Walmarts or something, no? It’s been a mystery of this case from the beginning- unless I totally missed it.
So- WHERE did it come from? If she used Xanax (Zanny the nanny) where did she get it? These are questions the state hasn’t answered, have they?
I have no doubt that Casey is responsible for Caylee’s death. I have a lot of unanswered questions about how she died.
I meant to include the fact that there is, in fact, physical evidence as well as the mountain of circumstantial evidence in this case. It seems to be you who are uninterested in evidence, choosing instead to champion conspiracy theories and deadbeat moms.
