Hi Luv! Cute graphic!
Howdy, Jaycee! Thanks! Hope your day has been lovely!
Someone has defined friendship as knowing the heart of another and sharing ones heart with another. We share our hearts with those we trust, and trust those who care about us. We confide in our friends because we have confidence that they will use the information to help us, not harm us. They in turn confide in us for the same reason.
We often refer to Jesus as our friend because we know that He wants what is best for us. We confide in Him because we trust Him. But have you ever considered that Jesus confides in His people?
Jesus began calling His disciples friends rather than servants because He had entrusted them with everything He had heard from His Father (John 15:15). Jesus trusted the disciples to use the information for the good of His Fathers kingdom.
Although we know that Jesus is our friend, can we say that we are His friends? Do we listen to Him? Or do we only want Him to listen to us? Do we want to know whats on His heart? Or do we only want to tell Him whats on ours? To be a friend of Jesus, we need to listen to what He wants us to know and then use the information to bring others into friendship with Him.
Read: John 15:9-17
After Navy SEALs killed Osama bin Laden, the White House released a photo of President Barack Obama and his Cabinet inside the Situation Room, watching the daring raid unfold.
Hidden from view, standing just outside the frame of that now-famous photograph was a career CIA analyst. In the hunt for the world’s most-wanted terrorist, there may have been no one more important.
His job for nearly a decade was finding the al-Qaida leader.
That certainly goes good with the quote I posted. Thank you, yorkie.
I am having a time with Jacquie Lawson....LOL! I’ll explain later as I have to run out a few minutes.
Husband bought me a two-year Jacquie Lawson e-card membership. Before that, I’d had a one-year membership.
Now, for several months, I’ve been unable to get the cards to download. Guessed it was because so many people use the site; or else maybe it’s because we’re on dialup internet. Didn’t have quite that much trouble when I first got the membership, though.
I’d register a complaint with them, but it would probably tie me up for two hours trying to get the complaint through.
I keep telling my husband not to get anything more than a one-year membership on ANYTHING. - At this rate, Jacquie’s site is lost to me.
I have had trouble making contact with Jacquie Lawson, also. I tried to send a card while out of town, and the site had not stored my password. I followed directions to retrieve my password - but they never responded.
Another problem with the site - a member will specify a date to send the card - but it seems that it is always delivered the day it was made. (I don’t ‘click send’ until the day I want it delivered.)
I’m sorry you are having trouble, Twinkie. There are some beautiful cards, there.
Hey my brain just woke up. Its a different quote. President Reagan has some wonderful quotes and I love all of them. The quote you posted is really my favorite. Reagan was a Patriot and a Christian man. We will never forget him.
There is something very touching
about our National Bird and our American Flag being shown together.
A young man was sitting next to me in one of the two "husband chairs" in a ladies' clothing store.
After 30 minutes and five outfits, the fellow's wife came out of the change room again.
He looked at her and immediately said: "That looks good on you. Get that one."
"Honey," she replied, "this is what I was wearing when we came in."
BIG AMEN!
That is a beautiful graphic. We see the Eagle and flag together a lot and I love it.

VERDICT at 2;15 I just turned on TV!
