CHICAGO (CBS) — The teenage robbery mobs are at it again on North Michigan Avenue.
Some 50 young people barged into a Walgreens at Michigan and Chicago on the Magnificent Mile on Tuesday afternoon. They took bottled drinks and sandwiches off the shelves, then ran off, CBS 2′s Suzanne Le Mignot reports.
A police report says authorities were able to nab three of the thieves.
Walgreens says the store is working with police, helping investigators with video from the store security camera.
The Mag Mile earlier this year was hit by similar mobs of young thieves. Attacks on commuters and bicyclists have become violent, and police have stepped up patrols.

There is no such burden because you require one. The issue is yours because you apparently want to make the reality something else.

I pity civilization for having to endure such loathsome epic losers such as rahm emmanuel.
You don’t need $55 worth of bear spray.
In close quarters like a store (with no breeze), wasp spray, which will shoot to 20 feet, works just as well, maybe better.
The white middle class of Chicago (what there’s left of it) and the rest of Illinois will hopefully come to a realization by 2012: no current democrat politician will protect them from the barbarians, and vote accordingly. Hopefully enough to overcome the legendary Chicago vote fraud.
Sorry, the fed is too busy allowing Mexican drug gangs to buy guns and watching on militias to do anything like this.
After all, they are Holders People.
1) Someone in the “community” is “organizing” these thugs.
2) Confiscate their cell phones if they are caught and check their text and voice messages.
3) Pass a law that carries a mandatory jail sentence if a cell phone is used to coordinate these acts.
4) For the store “mob” robberies, equip the exit doors with a dye that doesn’t come off for days, no matter how hard they scrub. The kind banks use.
Make it White dye as that would be ironic and spray them with it as they leave, marking them and also ruining any clothing or other items they’ve stolen.
5) Ban these thugs from retail stores for a period of several years if convicted.
6) Before they change their tactics to home invasions, buy yourself a home-defense weapon if you don’t have one.
A Maverick 88, which is made by Mossberg and is basically a Mossberg 500 copy can be had for a little over $200.00, not including transfer fees.
Wasp spray is like silly string. Straight stream. It is flammable though and makes a neat flamethrower when coupled w a lighter.
