LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Tips are now coming in for a story we first brought you last week involving a woman who lost her hand in a road rage crash.
It's not a crash that 52-year-old Pamela Price will ever forget.
"I have nightmares every time I go to sleep," says Pamela Price.
On Friday, Pamela was released from University Hospital after a more than two week stay.
It all stemmed from a Memorial Day crash.
The New Albany woman says she passed a car as she was heading westbound on Indiana 265, that then sped up and she says intentionally caused her to crash.
"There was no doubt about it. Just as soon as he pulled over in front of me he stomped his brakes on," says Pamela Price.
Pamela says the white man, who appeared to be in his mid-50's, with salt and pepper colored hair, drove away in his black Lincoln, which had Indiana license plates.
Pamela crashed and was ejected from her truck. Luckily, a nurse and man with a cooler stopped to help. Her hand had to be re-attached.

LOL...probably made that cop think twice when you told him that.
*sigh*..well I no longer have mine. Traded it for a pickup...454 SS chevy...limited edition. What was I thinking? lol
Anyway, life has been good and also fun (certain aspects anyway). Glad we made it through alive aren’t you? :)
Sorry, FOUR cylinder, but ran like 6. Smallish auto.
I’d love to have another pickup. I drove a toyota pu into the ground, over 300K miles on it when I gave it to a poor person — didn’t do him any favors, I’m sure it needed a lot of work after he got it.
But I’d really like to have a brand new Elantra. Those are some super fun autos...
The story says it’s not a criminal case,....yet. If she was attacked by another driver, there would be charges. If not true, then she gets the charges for a false report. Apparently, her story is lacking something. Normally there would be an APB for a black Lincoln with a bashed in trunk. A car is a weapon and is treated as such by law enforcement. If he was just in an accident and left the scene, he gets a ticket for that.
Pickups are great..had to get rid of mine because of a downturn in employment. Went to a Jetta (truly the greatest little vehicle...gas mileage and stamina), (those Japanese and Germans know how to make great cars) then to a Jeep Wrangler Sport, which I still own 150xxx miles and still runs like a top. Best part..I own it.
Not into fancy anymore. A great old Ford Pickup would suit me fine. :)
Fortunately, she said it was a white guy. Had she said anything else, and proven a liar, she would be charged with a “hate crime.”
Such incidents aren’t worth the drama and are best avoided, even if it means stopping or taking a detour.
I would not want to be a truck driver today with all of the gov’t micromanagement such as the CDL program, FMCSA regulations, port of entries and their games.
Colorado is one of the few states that don’t count minor violations against your license and don’t even post them to your record but however, the story is different for truck drivers. I know every minor violation goes against your license and they include what you get in your private vehicle. I understand that even parking tickets can cause problems with a CDL ! When the CDL program was passed, one of the champions of it was Senator Danforth of Missouri (RINO) and he was also a big proponent of the 55 mph speed limit.
I also drive vehicles that have dark window tinting and I know for trucks, that is a no, no and they have to follow the federal law (FMCSA regs) on it which is no tint, pretty crappy especially if you drive in the SW US like Arizona.
> We know what a CDL is, but what the heck is a CHL? .....

A friend of mine was tailgated by a psycho on the highway. He couldn’t drive fast enough to shake the nut, so he kept his pace until he saw a large truck muffler lying in his lane straight ahead. My friend sped up even more and stayed in his lane until the last possible second before jumping into the next lane. As he looked through the rear view mirror, he noted with satisfaction the guy’s eyes and contorted expression and torrents of sparks spewing from under his car as it wobbled and ground to a rapid halt.
Not much info but one detail is highly pertinent. The lady was ejected from her vehicle. Can’t happen unless you’re not wearing a seat belt. Leads me to conclude she’s a careless driver and there’s probably a lot to this tale unsaid. >PS
Some years ago I had a moron start flashing his headlights at me at a stoplight. After I made sure there wasn’t anything wrong with my vehicle I assumed he must have taken issue with some of my conservative bumperstickers. Moron continued to follow me down the road flashing his lights until he summoned up the courage to pull along side me, lean over the (empty) passenger seat and flip me off.
I signaled a lane change and started to move over right into him. He decided he didn’t want to play bumper cars with my SUV and backed off. He continued to follow me (75-100 yards back) until I turned off, still flashing his lights.
ok, cover me, I'm changing lanes...
