Ya know, they don’t need a plan to reduce the population.
For some reason, as nations advance in technology, reproduction craters.
It looks like population will bottom out at about 10% of the current level, then start to rise again.
There is nothing wrong with low population except that you usually get overrun by more fecund barbarians. Hmmm...
Interesting point. Thanks for pointing out that there are historical cycles. That is quite relevant...but imho the modern move towards low population has been artificially “nudged” on us as well for quite a number of years. (ie, Erlich’s “Population Bomb” and the forced abortion policy in China, other policies and mutterings and peepings in the lamestream media and power elite circles.)
There has also been a wholesale “nudging” of the populace away from spirituality and adoration of God in all societies, even in China, where people have been driven from their traditional religions (talk to the Fallon Gong for example) into one of materialism. This imho fosters a selfishness and desire on the part of the person to not reproduce in too many cases.
